Father God, thank you for the joy that You bring to us through the children. Lord, we know how very precious they are to You. Lord, whether our babies are all the way grown or just tiny humans still, we know that You are working in and through their life. Lord, I want to pray specifically for my own children. I pray that as they continue to grow in their knowledge and understanding of You that the world wouldn’t shake them. They are so young and so influential and I pray that as they discover more and more of Your character that they would feel emboldened to stand firm in their beliefs rather than believe the lies that the world tells them. Lord, I pray that they come to know You on a deep and intimate level. I know that my children are simply on loan to me from You and they are precious gifts that You have given me stewardship over. Help me steward them with kindness, love, gentleness, and most importantly by serving them and showing them how to serve as well. Lord, put Your arms of protection around them as they grow into themselves and develop their own dreams and goals. Help them to always know their worth in You and the plans of a hope and future that You have for them. Help me love them unconditionally like You have loved me. It is in Jesus’ Precious Name that I pray, Amen.
